One of the key components of Lightroom counselling’s approach is mindfulness. Mindfulness is the practice of being present and aware in the moment, without judgment or distraction. It is a powerful tool for managing stress and anxiety and can help individuals develop a greater sense of peace and clarity in their lives.
Through mindfulness exercises, clients can learn to quiet their minds, tune into their emotions, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences. In addition to mindfulness, Lightroom counselling’s approach also draw on other evidence-based techniques such as but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Trauma- Informed Modality.
